THE BRAVES BEAT THE BLUEJAYS

OTTAWA, Kan.  -  The Tabor women's tennis team traveled to Ottawa to take on the Braves but unfortunately would come unstuck on the day, losing 6-1 in the end.

The doubles was a day to forget for the Bluejays as Tara Stewart and Fiorella Villa lost 6-0 and Katherine Classen and Binita Sitoula lost 6-1 respectively.

The singles did get better for Tabor as Tara Stewart was able to win the number one's singles match 7-5, 6-4 in a highly competitive match. Despite the victory from Stewart the rest of the singles did not go well for the Bluejays as Katherine Classen was the only one to take games from her opponent.

"Ladies are continuing to improve. Tara played her best match so far winning a tough battle with Ottawa's #1," said Head Coach John Ruder.

The Bluejays will next face Sterling College at home on Wednesday, April 3rd. Matches will start at 3pm.
