BLUEJAYS FALL TO THE BULLDOGS

MCPHERSON, Kan.  -  The Tabor College traveled to local rivals McPherson looking for their first conference win, but some top tennis from McPherson meant they ran away with the 7-0 win on the day.

The doubles was a torrid affair for the Bluejays with Tara Stewart and Fiorella Villa losing 6-3 in the number one doubles match. Katherine Classen and Binita Sitoula did not fare much better as they lost 6-0 in the number two doubles match.

Tara Stewart played a very close singles match with McPherson's Camila Sanchez narrowly losing 7-6 (8), 6-4. Despite the ever-present tenacity from Tabor, the Bulldogs were able to take the clean sweep in the singles with Tabor managing to win three other games in the other three matches.

The Bluejays will once again be on the road at Ottawa University on Saturday, March 30th, matches are due to start at 11 a.m.
