HILLSBORO, Kan. – Lady Bluejay Basketball hits the road today as they head north to York, Neb. to take on the York University Panthers in another KCAC matchup. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:00pm.
SERIES HISTORY
Tabor currently holds a 17-4 lead over York since the 2009 season. Since 2013, the Lady Bluejays have won 17 straight games against the Panthers. TC took both meetings a season ago, recording their largest margin of victory in the series in the first meeting between the two programs last season, 88-47. In the last meeting, the Bluejays earned the win on the road, 62-49.
OPENING STORYLINES
- A hot second half helped the Lady Bluejays cruise to a 26-point victory over rival McPherson on Wednesday, 86-60
- Kassidy Beam led the way in the win, contributing 18 points, while Ivy Preusser brought in eight boards
- The Bluejays shot 41.9% from the field, while shooting 32.1% from beyond the arc
- Lillie Veer leads the team in scoring so far, currently averaging 14.1 points per game
- Tabor was picked to finish first in both the KCAC Preseason Coaches and Media Polls
