ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Bluejays hit the road on Friday, heading up north to Orange City, Iowa to take on the No. 15 Northwestern College Red Raiders in their first road test of the season.
Northwestern got off to a hot start, with the Bluejays trailing 65-22 at the half. Tabor scored 30 points in the second half, but the Red Raiders proved to be too much, sending Tabor home with the 117-52 loss.
Kalep Crane led TC in scoring with 21 points, followed by
Zach Hiebert with 10, and
Kreeland Avery and
Batosse Gado each with eight. Gado dominated on the glass, pulling down eight boards and recording one block.
The Bluejay men get the week to rest before they make the short trip next Wednesday to Wichita to take on Newman University in an exhibition contest.
