Box Score Salina, Kan. The Bluejays came into the game on Wednesday night after a well fought win on the road against Southwestern College. Despite a strong first half, however it was not enough on the night to win the game as the game ended 2-1 in favor of the Coyotes.
The first half brought a bright start from the Bluejays as they looked to get ahead in the game. This quickly became the case when Rory Cameron through ball to Eric Brown allowed for a
foul in the box and a penalty was awarded. The Welshman then converted the spot kick to make the score 1-0. This score would then hold until halftime.
The second half brought much more of the Coyotes as they looked to get back into the game. Two goals in twelve minutes from the Coyotes turned the tide of the game in their favor, and they were able to see the game out making the final score 2-1.
"It was a hard loss, but we have to rebound for a big game on Saturday," Head Coach Grant Brubacher said.
The Bluejays will next play at home on Saturday against Evangel for a homecoming game. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.
Tabor College is a Christ-centered institution located in Hillsboro, Kansas. The Bluejays are members of the NAIA and compete in the KCAC.
