Tabor College

Originally from Frontenac, Kan., Soo Hoo graduated from Tabor College in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in business management and finance. He ran cross country for the Bluejays for three years, serving as team captain for two of those years. He is in his fifth season with the Bluejay cross country teams and previously served as an assistant for the track and field teams for nine years. Joel is married to Lori (Akers) Soo Hoo and they have two children, Claudia and
Talon. He currently works for the MB Foundation in Hillsboro.
