HILLSBORO, Kan. – The Tabor College men's and women's tennis teams took on John Brown University on Friday, March 7, battling through competitive matches but ultimately falling short against a talented Golden Eagles squad. Despite a hard-fought effort, the Bluejays were unable to claim a team victory.
"Tough day on court for us! John Brown is a tough team and we did some good things, but in the end, it wasn't enough," head coach Jeremy Nelson said. "On the men's side, Ko Osuga picked up a nice win at No. 1 singles, and Jake Goertzen and Jonah Ferley were sharp at No. 3 doubles."

The women's team also faced a tough test, with all doubles pairs struggling against JBU's aggressive net play. As singles play presented an uphill battle for Tabor.

The Bluejays will look to rebound as they prepare for a doubleheader against Ottawa University and Baker University on Monday, March 10. With conference play in sight, Tabor aims to sharpen their play and build on their experiences as they move forward in the season.
