HILLSBORO, Kan. - The Bluejays hosted Sterling College on Thursday and despite some good tennis played the Bluejays lost 6-1 on the day.
Jake Goertzen and Stephano Moreano Chan got Tabor off to a great start winning their doubles match 6-4 in a fiercely contested match. Unfortunately no one else was able to win their doubles matches but they were all closely played.
Jean Paul Fort was able to win his singles match 6-3, 6-4 in a well-played match. Stephano Moreano Chan also played a close match narrowly losing 7-6 (7), 6-4.
"Both teams fought hard with many close matches," said Head Coach John Ruder.
The Bluejays will next be in action on Monday, April 9th against Oklahoma Wesleyan. Matches will start at 1:00pm.
