HILLSBORO, Kan. - The Tabor men's tennis team traveled to Salina to look to get two wins in a row in the KCAC. However a well-oiled Kansas Wesleyan machine was able to get the 7-0 win on the day.
The doubles did not start well for Tabor as the Coyotes were able to take the clean sweep. However, Stephano Moreano Chan and Jake Goertzen played a very close match narrowly losing 6-3 on the day.
The singles unfortunately did not get much better for the Bluejays as the Coyotes were able to take all the matches. However, Stephano Moreano Chan forced the third set tiebreaker, closely losing out 10-6 in the third set.
"The men's matches were all competitive. I'm proud of the way they fought to the very end," said Head Coach John Ruder.
The Bluejays will next be in action on April 18th, they will face the Friends University Falcons in Wichita. Matches will start at 3:00pm.
