TABOR FALLS TO A WELL-OILED OTTAWA SQUAD

OTTAWA, Kan.  -  The Tabor Bluejays traveled to Ottawa looking to kickstart their campaign. Despite some great matches played, the Braves came out the 6-1 winners at the end of the day.

Jean Paul Fort and Ko Osuga played a close doubles game losing 6-4 in the end. Unfortunately this was not the same for the rest of the team as Stephano Moreano Chan and Jake Goertzen lost 6-0 and Nathan Coria and Alexis Torres lost 6-1.

The singles did get better for the Bluejays as Jake Goertzen was able to win his match 6-4, 6-4. Stephano Moreano Chan also played a really close match, narrowly missing out with a score of 7-6 (1), 6-3.

"Men played well. Jake Goertzen continues to play strong at #3 winning another tough match this week," said Head Coach John Ruder.

The Bluejays will face the Sterling College Warriors on Wednesday, April 3rd. Matches will start at 3:00pm.
