TUCSON, Ariz. – The Bluejay Reserve Softball team played their first game of the season yesterday as part of their trip to Arizona. The Bluejays took on Miles Community College, from Miles City, Mont. in their first action of the season, while the Pioneers had previously played the reserve team from Madonna University and lost, 11-5.
Both teams would score two runs in the 1
st Inning, and the Bluejays would score three more runs in the 2
nd. Miles would score three runs in the 4
th Inning to tie things up, but the Bluejays would drive a run in in the 6
th and would go on to win, 6-5. Brianna Alligood recorded the win in the circle for Tabor.
The Reserve Bluejays will be back in action on Monday against the Madonna University Reserve team. The first pitch will be at 12:30pm.
